Based in Worcestershire, England, Solitaire Cricket was established by Roger Weston in 2004. Solitaire is the result of over three decades spent on cricket equipment manufacture and the company now supplies the finest grade one cricket bats and accompanying equipment to cricketers across the world. His skills are the result of years of honed craftsmanship and detailed research into the evolution of the game.

Roger began his life as a bat maker back in the seventies and has since crafted hand-made bats for a plethora of world stars including West Indian great Viv Richards, England all-rounder Ian Botham and the record breaking trio of Graham Gooch, Alan Border and Graeme Hick.
